LET'S MAKE IT ALL ABOUT ME, SHALL WE?
Seth Skye scribbles words on paper and turns them into books. This might sound clever, but almost anyone can do it if they have some paper and know enough words to jot down. His spelling is atrocious, but his ideas are mostly okay. Sometimes they’re even pretty good . . . maybe.
Born and raised in Liverpool, he moved to London at the age of nine and has lived there ever since. He’s a little bit older than nine now – quite a bit, actually, but don’t hold it against him. He was once a kid, so he knows a little about being one. He also has a kid of his own, who is smarter and better-looking than him. He is not bitter about that. Honest.
SLEEPY JACK will be his first children’s book. If it’s rubbish, he will probably still write more because he’s stubborn and certain that only people with terrible taste will dislike it. The story came from a lovely mix of imaginations: his own, his son’s, and a few excellent others. But all the best ideas were his – apparently.
